Our remote fly-in only camps are located in Moose Management Area 39A on the great northern peninsula of Newfoundland.  We have a history and reputation of successful and satisfied clients maintaining a 90 to 95% success rate on quality bull moose.  Due to the high density of the moose population in our unit it is known as the “MOOSE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD”.  Newfoundland itself is known for some of the best big game hunting east of Alaska.

Moose hunting season begins the second week of September.  We hunt for four to five weeks following that date with your hunt running from Sunday to Sunday.  The remoteness of our camps means there is no other hunting pressure in your area.

Our main lodge is fly-in only and is located on a pond surrounded by beautiful tundra-type country with a mix of rolling hills and wooded valleys.  The camp is a 20 to 30-minute flight by float plane or helicopter from Hawke’s Bay, NL.  On your flight you will experience unforgettable views of nature and the Long Range Mountains.

In our main lodge we offer a 100% remote hunting experience with the amenities of generated or solar electricity, hot and cold running water, wood heat, indoor plumbing, bunk rooms (two hunters per room), and delicious home-cooked meals.  We also offer remote spike camps accessible only by helicopter that offer a true trophy-only hunting experience with quality pre-cooked meals and basic comfort amenities.  These camps are located in virgin areas that support true trophy-quality bulls and are comfortable spike-tent camp or small wooden A-frame structures.
